Sevendust powraca z nowym singlem zapowiadającym kolejny album zatytuowany “Truth Killer” po prawie trzech latach przerwy. Będzie to czternasty album w dyskografii zespołu z Atlanty w stanie Georgia w USA.



“Fence” prezentuje się jako przedsmak płyty i wprowadza w dobry i energiczny nastrój, który Sevendust zawsze oferował nam swoją twórczością. Wokalista Lajon śpiewa, a już na wstępie wykrzykuje z siłą armaty wojennej w zwrotce o okradaniu nas z energii i wprowadzaniu nieświadomości w letarg. Zapominamy o własnym życiu z powodu chaosu generowanego wokół nas na co dzień. Pojawia się metafora “podpalenia lontu”, aby przerwać ten proces i wyjść z opresji hipnozy zewsząd i (osobista dygresja) po prostu obudzić się we własnej świadomości. Jak zwykle matematycznie stworzony rytm przez Morgana (perkusja) i Vince’a (bass) daje miejsce na dźwiękową paletę graną przez Johna (gitara) i Clinta (gitara prowadząca), przy czym ten ostatni prezentuje miażdżące i świeże podejście w swoim solo.



Oczywiście polecam, dobry jak zawsze i solidny Sevendust, zaskakuje mimo własnego, ukształtowanego przez lata stylu. Myślę, że warto z ciekawością poczekać co będzie w zawartości całego albumu, który będzie dostępny w sklepach 28 lipca i wiadomo - online wszędzie :]

Sevendust returns with a new single announcing the next album entitled "Truth Killer" after almost three years of break. This will be the fourteenth album in the discography of the band from Atlanta, Georgia in the USA.



“Fence” presents itself as a foretaste of the album and introduces the good and energetic mood that Sevendust has always offered us with its music. Vocalist Lajon sings, and at the beginning he shouts with the force of a war cannon in a verse about robbing us of energy and putting the unconscious into lethargy. We forget about our own lives because of the chaos generated around us on a daily basis. The metaphor of "lighting the fuse" comes up to interrupt this process and get out of the hypnosis from everywhere and (personal digression) just wake up in your own consciousness. As usual, the mathematically created rhythm by Morgan (drums) and Vince (bass) gives room for a sonic palette played by John (guitar) and Clint (lead guitar), the latter showing a crushing and fresh approach in his solo.



Of course, I recommend it, good as always and solid Sevendust, surprises despite its own, shaped over the years style. I think it's worth waiting with curiosity what will be in the content of the whole album, which will be available in stores on July 28 and you know - online everywhere :]

Two new songs released "under the banner" of Linkin Park by the rest of the band members, of course without Chester Bennington, who died almost 6 years ago, are impressive even after such a long time since the release of the second album in their discography. These are, in a sense, remnants of songs from "Meteora", which did not fit on the album, probably during the segregation process before the album was released.



"Fighting Myself" is about a man who, left to himself with his own thoughts, creates a ‘snowball' that does not give him peace, and then turns into only anger thrown outside, where he is misunderstood by others. Bad acceptance of such a person and treating them as destroying everything leads to ‘the collapse of this person in themselves’ and the growing grief in them, which is the result of erroneous perception of the whole situation around.

"Lost" as the title suggests - and much of the work of the LP band is based on looking for answers within yourself, but at the same time not being able to find them - the track is about a man with many scars and memories inside a troubled soul. People who promised, who gave hope, loved, now there is only a melancholic trace of them left. He's lost when he's alone and can't bear the weight of everything inside him and knows he'll never be the same again and probably happy.



Lyrically, not every song performed by the LP is optimistic, but it always makes you think. Chester was a very introspective and complex man. His lyrics have never been easy to interpret, but one thing is certain, he left behind a brilliant legacy - a man lost but fighting to the end. Although he somehow lost this fight, his work still has a powerful message and gives strength (certainly to a person like me) not to give up and fight for a better tomorrow, and these new songs only show what genius and energy flowed from this man and how much good the LP gave to people around the world who listened to them and still listen to them ...

Listen, interpret, because it's worth it.. true creativity never dies ;] that's how it is!

Dwa nowe utwory wydane "pod szyldem" Linkin Park przez resztę członków zespołu, oczywiście bez zmarłego prawie 6 lat temu Chestera benningtona, robią wrażenie nawet po tak długim czasie od wydania drugiego albumu w ich dyskografii. Są to w pewnym sensie pozostałości utworów z "Meteora", które nie zmieściły się na płycie, prawdopodobnie w trakcie segregacji przed wydaniem albumu.



"Fighting Myself" mówi o człowieku, który pozostawiony sam sobie z własnymi myślami, tworzy ‘kulę śnieżną’, która nie daje mu spokoju, a potem zamienia się jedynie w gniew wyrzucany na zewnątrz, gdzie jest niezrozumiany przez innych. Zła akceptacja takiej osoby i traktowanie jej jako niszczącej wszystko, prowadzi do ‘załamania się tej osoby samej w sobie’ i narastania w niej żalu, który jest wynikiem błędnego odebrania całej sytuacji wokół.

"Lost" jak sugeruje tytuł - a większość twórczości zespołu LP opiera się na szukaniu odpowiedzi w sobie, ale jednocześnie niemożności ich znalezienia - utwór opowiada o człowieku z wieloma bliznami i wspomnieniami wewnątrz niespokojnej duszy. Ludzie, którzy obiecywali, którzy dawali nadzieję, kochali, teraz został tylko po nich melancholijny ślad. Jest zagubiony, kiedy jest sam i nie może znieść ciężaru wszystkiego w sobie i wie, że nigdy już nie będzie taki sam i prawdopodobnie szczęśliwy.



Lirycznie nie każdy utwór w wykonaniu LP jest optymistyczny, ale zawsze daje do myślenia. Chester był bardzo introspektywnym i złożonym człowiekiem. Jego teksty nigdy nie były łatwe do interpretacji, ale jedno jest pewne, pozostawił po sobie genialną spuściznę - człowieka zagubionego, ale walczącego do końca. Mimo, że jakoś tę walkę przegrał to jego twórczość nadal ma potężny przekaz i daje siłę (na pewno takiej osobie jak ja) by się nie poddawać i walczyć o lepsze jutro, a te nowe piosenki tylko pokazują jaki geniusz i energia płynęła z tego człowieka i ile dobrego LP dał ludziom na całym świecie, którzy ich słuchali i słuchają nadal ...

Posłuchajcie, zinterpretujcie, bo warto.. prawdziwa kreatywność nigdy nie umiera ;] tak właśnie jest!
